We are a friendly and enthusiastic group, aiming to provide all our children with a secure and motivating environment in which they can develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
Learning Through Play
The Pre-School is lucky to have a safe and secure outside play area, including a garden which is use by the children to grow flowers, fruit and vegetables. This is invaluable in developing the children's interest in the natural world while having fun outside in the fresh air.
Curriculum
The Early Years Foundation Stage allows for every child to develop at their own pace in orger to achieve their full potential. The focus is on the following six areas of learning:
Personal, social and emotional (sharing and friendship)
Communication, language and literacy (speaking, reading and writing)
Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Physical development (indoor and outdoor play)
Creative development
